Turner & Townsend Real Estate team is seeking a Construction Scheduler in the New York City metro area to join our growing and fun team.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong experience in forecasting construction durations and logic, including the durations for design, pre-construction, heavy construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Experience of working on Design-Build projects
  • Extensive knowledge of the Greater New York Real Estate industry, specifically within the commercial real estate sector
  • Experience in scheduling / project controls
  • A minimum of 4 years in project level scheduling for large capital or real estate projects
Primary Responsibilities And Duties
  • Prepare and/or analyze time-impact analysis reports
  • Follow appropriate internal control safeguards to ensure consistent reporting of accurate information
  • Assist with analysis, and report on the project key performance metrics
  • Assist the project staff with the management of project‘s risk, budget, and schedule
  • Prepare and/or analyze program and project level schedules
  • Prepare and/or analyze overall project resource and cost allocations
  • Evaluate contractor delay claims
  • Assist with client relations/management
  • Prepare monthly and as-required schedule analysis reports
  • Independently generate schedules based on an evaluation of the overall program/project scope, including generating quantities, schedule duration, and logic
  • Must understand construction means and methods
Qualifications
  • EBuilder experience is a plus
  • PSP, or similar certifications preferred
  • Consulting experience is preferred
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Experience with Greater New York City construction
  • 4-7 years or more of P6 construction scheduling experience is mandatory, preferably within the corporate interiors sector
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $66K-$145K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
