Project Manager - IT III

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Remote

Role Description: Client is looking for a seasoned project/program management professional who can manage the delivery of digital health care products. This person will have experience and thrive in a program with complex cross functional collaboration requirements in a highly regulated environment. This manager is used to programs with many interdepend workstreams and tight timelines. The project manager will ensure everything runs smoothly, i.e., on-budget and on-time, and program goals are met while maintaining details for each project throughout their workday.

Experience with various distribution systems and technology platforms - Web, Mobile app, Datawarehouse, Analytics etc.

Experience with Agile product development principles and deployment methodologies.

Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.

Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project, MS Teams, Miro, JIRA/Trello etc.) is a strong advantage.

Experience building and launching mobile applications, especially in healthcare needed.

Program Management

The Project Manager III, tasks include:

• Present analysis to program leadership and deliver recommendations to drive informed and aligned decision making.
• Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected project swim lanes by developing and controlling a master program plan.
• Support development of materials for reporting and stakeholder management
• Inform and recommend suitable risk mitigation strategies and objectives by collaborating with the program leadership team.
• Apply change, risk, and resource management to proactively identify program needs, and commitments.
• Receive budgets from vendors and cross-functional team and provide consolidated view to the Product Lead
• Track, monitor, and manage workstream dependencies, risks, action items, and decisions by coordinating with cross-project leads and teams.

Project Management

• Manage post Go Live Hypercare and expedite resolution during production outages.
• Build and oversee the execution of comprehensive cutover plans during Go Lives.
• Coordinate program workstreams and convene necessary sub teams to ensure progress against program timelines.
• Manage the communication and training requirements for project deployments.
• Develop project timelines, keep cross-functional team appraised of the implications of decisions on timelines to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Mitigate risks and provide alternative solutions and/or workarounds when needed.
• Deliver weekly/monthly status reporting for each project and report to project stakeholders.
• Draft and refine business requirements, business rationale and the end goal.

Program Operations

• Provide project management training, leverage tools, and materials to Client to assist with enterprise initiatives.
• Setup and manage weekly, monthly working meetings and / or workshops as needed.
• Compare multiple solution options against the business requirements and prepare analysis.
• Assist the Product lead and maintain project documents and ceremonial artefacts including meeting minutes, decision logs, and workshop materials.
• Improve the change request process to increase the delivery capacity.
• Assist the vendor Business Analysts (Client) and Developers in understanding business requirements, delivery scope, and end deliverable expectations.

Qualifications/Experience

7 to 10 years of proven experience managing IT/Software projects and enterprise programs.

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations Management, etc.)

MBA preferred.

PMP/SCRUM/Agile certifications preferred.

Experience building and launching mobile applications, especially in healthcare
