How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)


This strategic leader will be responsible for system-wide OBS program management and execution of special programs system wide worth ~$120M in 2021/22. These programs will vary from Dispatch system roll out, Provision tracking and auditing implementation, kitchen refurbishment, Fleet mgmt, productivity changes, station transitions, and system-wide OBS Tower program management. As a Program Manager the leader will be expected to design and facilitate roll outs and provide all Caterers and OBS merit leaders with training centered around OBS initiatives. The Mangers will have process engineering and change management skills to ensure successful completion of each initiative. To ensure standardized change mgmt. across the system leader be expected to become an expert in programs such as IFX, GP4 and O2P. They will develop systems of tracking and compliance of project plans. They will also be expected to engage with all OBS and IFS Leaders to implement continuous improvement and cost savings ~ $70M in 2022 opportunities. This role will be heavily involved in the oversight of caterers(8000+) and their employee compliance process. The team coordinates with multiple business units at the OBS system-level and expected to have high interaction with IFS and OBS Directors, Managing Directors, and Vice President levels. Responsible for interfacing with CRE, ACS, FIN and IT on strategic programs. Program managers will also be responsible for developing strategic business cases and delivering of projects on time on budget. In some cases they will be responsible for testing content and usability and partners with Delta Technology, Organizational Effectiveness (OE), and Affiliated to trouble shoot any issues.


  • Responsible for technical support, training and ongoing subject matter expert of e-learning authoring tools used in OBS Learning
  • They will support the OBS division, encompassing but not limited to: Food Safety, ramp Safety and security, Daily reporting, Audit, Dispatch and provisioning technology
  • They will build a consistent change management program for all tier 1 hubs
  • Responsible for strategic planning and PMO for OBS
  • Practices safety conscious behaviors in all processes and procedures
  • Oversees process for ensuring compliance of new launches, spec changes and pack out changes
  • This role will be expected to develop a team of Catering SME's

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)


  • Has to be willing and able to travel occasionally
  • Demonstrates initiative and self-directs work. Highly proficient PC skills including advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point are required
  • Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred Qualifications)


  • A minimum of 5 years of program management, Business case development, and change management
  • General knowledge of training (ACS/IFS/Flight Ops)
