Job Description
Bobcat of Atlanta - Norcross, GA is a full service Bobcat Dealership. We specialize in new, used, and rental compact excavators, skid steer loaders, and track loaders. We also offer parts and both mobile and shop service. Bobcat of Atlanta - Norcross, GA is looking for a Field Service Manager to oversee the Field Service Operations for the division. This position will maintain an efficient, profitable, and organized department.   • Maintain an adequate and appropriate staff of qualified, trained, and customer-oriented service technicians.
  • Interact with field service personnel in repair circumstances and provides the instruction and coaching necessary to develop diagnostic, safe, clean, efficient and effective high quality work.
  • Strong working knowledge of Bobcat equipment operations and mechanical functions
  • Provide direction and leadership required to achieve professional technical services, profitability and quality standards.
  • Provides support and guidance to service personnel who perform on-site services including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Works with store services managers and parts personnel to provide timely support for field service technicians.
  • Ensures field services are effective and customers requirements are met.
  • Responsible for all warranty performed in the field to insure fair and equitable treatment of the customer and the company. Optimize warranty reimbursement from vendors.
  • Establish and maintain customer contacts to ensure a good working relationship with customers and promote customer service work.
  • Coordinates, monitors and improves field service activities for the division.
  • Solid field service knowledge and functionalities
Qualifications
  • Good computer and systems knowledge.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in a dealership environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Preference given for 2 year technical degree.
  • Excellent customer relation skills.
  • People management experience is required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Prior experience as a service writer with dispatch experience essential.
  • Fleet Management knowledge is essential.
