Position Details
Contract Duration: One-year term, with the possibility of extension
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Start Date: July 2023
Location: 100% remote, occasional office visits, potential travel to California, Pennsylvania, and Florida
Compensation: Competitive rate of $100 per hour
Overview
As the Biotherapeutics Project Manager, you will take charge of managing expectations, fostering collaboration, and overseeing the seamless execution of projects related to drug development. With your leadership and project management expertise, you will create and maintain timelines, define scope, and optimize resources. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with both internal and external stakeholders will be critical to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate exceptional leadership and project management skills to ensure the achievement of project, program, and product deliverables within the realm of Product Lifecycle Management.
Foster strategic collaboration, meticulous planning, and efficient navigation of project milestones, while maintaining a holistic perspective. Engage in open and transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Communicate project updates, deviations from plans, and any relevant issues proactively and with technical proficiency, engaging senior management and leadership when necessary.
Organize, lead, and facilitate cross-functional team meetings, providing clear agendas, comprehensive meeting minutes, and effective follow-up on action items. Foster alignment and clarity among stakeholders regarding deliverables and activities.
Identify and analyze project risks, guiding the project teams in developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
Drive change management initiatives based on project deliverables, fostering a culture of adaptability and innovation.
Resolve conflicts within a matrixed organization, employing active listening, understanding expectations, critical thinking, and negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial decisions.
Maintain project dashboards and monitor key metrics, milestones, and decisions to ensure project success.
Uphold compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practices within the industry.
Promote the harmonization of project management best practices, ensuring optimal project execution.
