Project Coordinator - Commercial Solar

Vallum Associates is partnering with a commercial (C&I) and distributed generation (DG) solar developer based in the Northeast. With $75B+ in asset management behind them, their portfolio also includes rooftop, BESS, and EV carports across the northeast.

Our client is looking for a Project Coordinator who will support the project development team via internal project coordination and project management, research, and data presentations throughout the project life cycle.

• Manage project budgets, including tracking, reporting, invoicing vendors, and reconciling payments.
• Liaise between internal Development, Legal, Project Finance, and Engineering teams for matters related to project advancement and risk management.
• Administrative and adhoc tasks to support project development and permitting efforts (e.g., recording minutes, tracking permit applications and contract expiration dates, KPI reporting, vendor interface, database management, etc.)
• Enhancing internal systems, monitoring project milestones and risks, and maintaining project records with progress tracking and reporting.
• Support project development proposals by reviewing RFP opportunities, maintaining an updated proposal template, and organizing deliverables.

Essential criteria:

· Min 2+ years’ experience in solar project management / project coordination / project development

· Bachelor’s degree

· Experience with project management platforms and/or CRM databases (e.g., Salesforce, Asana, MS Project, etc.)

Preferred criteria:

• Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• NYSERDA, NY-ISO and/or C&I solar knowledge is desired but not required.
