Job Description

This opportunity will allow you to develop or enhance your Sharepoint, M365, and PowerBI development and coding skills. You will support, maintain, update, or develop an associated Sharepoint site, use Microsoft Office 365 applications (e.g., Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook), and develop a PowerBI site as a historical data repository. You will also exercise your communication and coordination skills at all levels across the Microsoft enterprise.


To ensure timely support this position requires a minimum of 4 hours of online availability in the Pacific Time zone each business day, Monday through Friday.


Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and update the Cap Council Sharepoint site including schedule

• Send email communications to stakeholders regarding the monthly schedule and tooling availability for data entry

• Resolve data input questions raised by requestors

• Obtain Finance Manager decisions to approve or reject requests

• Manage late and “out of band” requests that do not conform to the published schedule

• Determine if requests should be categorized as “standard” or “non-standard”

• Set up vetting slides for those “non-standard” requests requiring deeper analysis

• Collect vetting input from requestors, send to CloudOptimal team for analysis

• Coordinate with CloudOptimal team regarding vetting outcome

• Assemble monthly summary deck, synthesize into three tiers: Summary, Mid-Level, and Detailed supporting information

• Route monthly deck to stakeholders, address input and resolve questions

• Ensure deck is complete and socialized prior to the monthly CFO review “Dry Run”

• Manage “status” inquiries from requestors

• Notify stakeholders of decision outcomes in a timely manner (which often occurs on Friday afternoon)

• Develop and maintain a PowerBI site as a historical data repository


Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Expert program management (communication and coordination) skills with ability to interact across the enterprise at all levels in time-sensitive scenarios

o Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience, 5+ years preferred

• Advanced technical skills in Sharepoint, M365, and PowerBI

• 4 hours online availability in the Pacific Time zone each business day Monday-Friday

• Process improvement skills (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)

• Inclusive design skills for site development
