About Us:
The Jesus Son of Mary Center is a Florida registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The center impacts lives by driving personal and community growth. JSMC consists of the Jesus Son of Mary Mosque, FKAD Institute, The Kawkab Institute, The Purpose Kitchen, and a Sports Field. The 40,000 Sq Ft Islamic Center is located in the heart of Tampa, Florida at 3457 W Kenyon Ave, Tampa, Florida, 33614. The Center is also close to major highways and roads with public transportation available in crosstown. The JSMC team is founded by American-born professionals who understand American-Muslim dynamics and have a combined experience of over 40+ years in building and scaling organizations.
Job Summary:
The Program Director is a mission-focused, seasoned, strategic, and process-minded leader with experience in scaling and optimizing programs, leading a team, and developing a performance culture among a group of diverse, talented individuals. The PD must be a leader who is able to help others deliver great results that benefit the community of the JSMC and beyond.
Job Duties:
Operations
- Develops, implements, and monitors day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives
- Adheres to the company’s policies and standards, and ensures that laws and regulations are being followed
- Answers phone calls during office hours in accordance with organizational policies
- Oversees program coordinators, educators, janitors, security, and volunteers
- Oversees implementation of organization equality and diversity policy
- Complies and secures all City and State agencies/departments' regulations
- Creates, plans, launches and manages programs in line with JSMC’s vision and mission
- Manages relationships with external partners and vendors
- Works closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment
- Suggests and works to improve operations and productivity
- Actively reviews and recruits volunteers to assist staff personnel in accordance with JSMC’s vision and mission
- Strong focus on creating and maintaining a culture within the organization to foster strong retention
- Facilitate weekly meetings with JSMC staff along with Bi-Weekly meetings with JSMC Corporate
- Strong focus on driving registration and generating new revenue
- Successfully view and pass one FKAD course every quarter
- Manages employees & security including scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations
- Oversees all programs including scheduling, the productivity of employees, and satisfaction of attendees
- Manages marketing including flier distributions, posters, announcements, and bulletin board updates
Finances
- Manages the collections, records, and deposits of tuition and fees
- Directs the development of the organization to ensure future growth
- Generates, accounts for, deposits, and optimizes revenue
- Responsible for the attainment of short and long-term financial and operational goals
- Oversees bookkeeping and financial systems in conjunction with the JSMC Finance team
- Manages registration and financial breakdowns of each program
Minimum Qualifications:
- Technical and managerial certifications preferred
- Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
- Five plus years of experience executing and leading successful programs with proven staff development
- Bachelor's degree required
- Knowledge of the Islamic faith and Muslim culture
- Passion to drive community efforts
- Knowledge of American-Muslim culture and dynamics required
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four-plus hours at a time required
- US work authorization without sponsorship required
- Ability to physically push-pull and lift 50 lbs or more required

SALARY IS COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE

Salary: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
