A leading cruise retailer is looking for a Stock and Revenue Specialist to join their team. This role will require a minimum of 20% International travel.

DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:

·Reporting to the Head of Profit Protection

·Responsible for all stock control, inventory, losses, identifying concern, strategizing and implementing preventative measure to reduce losses

·You will be working closely with onboard retails teams and managers

·Advanced EXCEL skills are essential for this role

·Report writing and presentations thereof

·Working in collaboration with external auditors

·Analyse stock loss data

·Support and coach our onboard retail teams to maximise profits and limit losses

·Strict adherence to all policies and procedures

·Identify additional training needs in individuals and teams, formulate and implementation thereof

·Develop and ensure the ships Stock Loss Improvement Plan is fit for purpose and will drive the targeted stock loss reductions

·Regular stock loss reviews with key stakeholders – Onboard Teams, Buyers, Area Managers etc

·Provide specific feedback and guidance to retail management teams following onboard audits

·Provide detailed development plans for retail management to improve onboard stock standards

·Support the opening of new onboard stores by implementing key operations standards

·Report audit performance to the Retail Operations team

·Support and plan the use of third-party stock counting companies as part of annual cyclical counting targets

·Support the wider Profit Protection team (Data Specialists) with the ERP dashboard management

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

·Advanced EXCEL competence

·Experience onboard would be advantageous but not essential

·Retail (senior level) experience required

·Fluent in English

·Knowledge of stock control, inventory, reporting, losses

·Excellent communication skills

·Authoritative and hands-on attitude

·Excellent attention to detail

·Process driven

·20 % International travel

·Full driving license

·Experience with third-party stocktaking

·Understanding of Stock Management and Profit and Loss systems

·Ability to analyse data to identify root cause, trends, and present solutions
