Production Test Technician (Aerospace)

We are privately held American owned Small Business made up of five (5) vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly divisions, each with their own history, specializations and products.
SCB Division of DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Test Technician with the following qualifications:
General
The job will consist of the following:

• Safely and reliably operate electrical and environmental test equipment.
• Troubleshoot test failures.
• Perform product test as directed by department test lead and as required by product drawings, specifications and production travelers.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Follow verbal direction from lead and written instructions per product travelers and specifications.
• Perform in -process and final electrical testing of production cables and assemblies
• Assist with environmental lab tests.
• Troubleshoot test failures and help formulate solutions.
• Read product drawings and set up the necessary electrical test.
• Produce department documentation including test plans and test results.

Education
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Associate degree or equivalent in work experience
Work Experience

• Proficient with MS Office products.
• Experience in production test environment.
• Familiarity with environmental test equipment.

Industry Knowledge

• Working knowledge of electronics basics (voltage, current, etc.) and test methodology preferred.
• Knowledge of cables and connectors.

Physical Requirement

• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
