RF Test Technician. Perform Test and Tune Operations on Microwave Assemblies prior to Seam Seal. Create tuning strategy for assemblies based on test results. This strategy may include inspection, remove and replace of some components and/or manipulation of some ribbon bonds or coils. Perform Final Test on Sealed Assemblies. Feedback of issues to the assembly team would be expected. Maintenance of Test Stands will be performed. Training of other technicians will occur from time to time. Cross training on other processes may also happen over time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Understanding of basic electronics to analyze circuit performance. Ability to use high frequency electronic instruments, such as oscillators, audio oscillators, standing wave amplifiers, multimeters, phase sensitive demodulators, volt-ohm meters, logic and network analyzers, AF and RF signal generators and wave meters. Ability to measure and calculate insertion loss and VSWR of a microwave device. This equipment will be used in both the Digital and Microwave Frequency Domains, up to 5GHz. Experience in working with this equipment in the High frequency regimes is required. Strong candidates will be able to utilize circuit diagrams as part of circuit analysis, and should be fluent in resolving electronic circuit problems. Ability to work well in a team environment and train others is required.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
The ideal candidate would have at least a 2-Year Degree in Electronics or similar discipline, or comparable work experience in industry or the military. Related military experience could involve radar, sonar, or other high frequency communications systems. This position will involve a lot of interaction with other team members, so the ability to work well with others in a team environment is required. Many times the need to resolve unique product issues will exist, so strong troubleshooting and the ability to apply previous learning will be required. In this production facility, the ability to work with some urgency is required. A strong candidate would be skilled and flexible enough to be able to support troubleshooting problems in other process areas. The ability to flex hours for shift work and to work overtime would also be preferred.
