Quality Engineer - Aerospace

Our client, Ducommun Aerostructures, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Aerospace Department supporting product lifecycle and development. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, ability to convey technical input, and a keen eye for details which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Gardena, CA

Pay: $85,000 to $95,000 ++

Key Responsibilities

• Develops product quality plans and inspection methodologies
• Monitors and analyzes product/process trend data and or tooling/manufacturing & inspection techniques to optimize performance
• Coordinates with respective customers, vendors, and subcontractors on technical issues
• Evaluates initial/existing programs for conformance
• Develops solutions to a wide range of technical problems

Requirements

• Experience in aircraft manufacturing – Metal forming & NC Machining
• Experience in blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing
• 2-3 years’ experience with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Discipline
• Or, 8 + years with a 2 year degree
