Production Manager - Manufacturing- Plant Manager

What you need for this position:

• Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment
• 5+ years experience in a M.R.P environment with a knowledge of inventory control
• Bilingual in Spanish Required
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques
• 10+ years manufacturing experience including management positions
• Ability to plan, organize, motivate, set goals and objectives to maximize resources

What you'll be doing:

• Identifies and establishes key performance indicators (KPI's) in production
• Controls quality and cost of production through appropriate subordinates
• Identify production and recommend process improvements
• Controls expenditures to minimize downtime and maintain costs of plant facilities
• Coordinate with manufacturing engineering and planning to implement new and
• Lead the safety committee to ensure safety procedures are established
• Manage plant operations for production, machine shop and maintenance facility
• Improved methods of manufacturing to reduce costs and improve quality
• Administer procedures to ensure that products are manufactured, packaged and assembled according to applicable engineering documentation and specifications
• Implements cost effective systems of control over operating expenditures
