We’re currently looking for a passionate and creative part time Production Designer Intern to join our team.
The ideal candidate cares deeply about designing beautiful and impactful digital invitations, is driven by an intense curiosity, and thrives in a highly iterative and collaborative environment. You’ll be responsible for making various formats of supplied artwork, as well as refreshing animated and static invitations that will be used by millions of Evite hosts each year. Core Capabilities

• Proven ability to produce creative, beautiful, and performant digital invitations utilizing hand-lettering, color, fonts, texture, hand and digital illustration.
• Expert fluency with design and illustration tools and software to produce animated and static illustrations.
• Superior time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Refreshing existing artwork and redefining the look and feel based on new template guidelines.
• Experience designing and illustrating for digital devices.
• Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.

Additional Preferred Requirements

• Obsess on the details and getting it right.
• A natural collaborator who’s comfortable both giving and receiving constructive design feedback.
• Effectively communicate your ideas and design rationale, both verbally and visually.
• Familiarity with working in a Content Management System (CMS) is a plus.
• A self-starter who craves a fast-paced, high-integrity, low hand-holding environment (you’ll always be supported when needed).
• Fluency in typography and GIF animation. Fluency in graphic design principals.
• BFA/BA in Illustration or Graphic Design, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• High level knowledge of design software and animation tools and techniques - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects.
