PRODUCTION DESIGNER


Our team is seeking an experienced production designer to execute bold and beautiful retail marketing collateral for use around the globe. Your work will involve designing materials that seamlessly communicate the brand, product and message for the product. You will collaborate with other designers and project managers to meet short turnaround times, managing multiple projects and deadlines. In addition, you have knowledge of physical products and printing techniques.


Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:


  • Adapt templated artwork to various retailer specifications while maintaining brand standards .
  • Design print and digital campaign templates that integrate developer content while maintaining brand standards .
  • Create press-ready production files for all gift card product SKU’s.


This can be a fully remote position based in the United States OR a hybrid position located in the San Francisco Bay Area with 2-3 days in the office with ability to work from home for the remaining days of the week. Applicants will be required to work West Coast (Pacific Standard) hours from 9AM - 5:30PM .


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Adapt existing artwork for the retail environment according to partner specifications across multiple regions, languages, sizes, and formats using industry standard software, such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop .
  • Create and update press ready production files for printers .
  • Ensure all assets are on brand and strategically aligned with team vision, paying close attention to detail to ensure consistency across assets .
  • Assist team primarily in producing print, packaging, advertising, point-of-purchase, and digital graphics as requested by stakeholders within expected timelines and without error .
  • Demonstrate commitment to and interest in production design while preserving respect for the creative process; welcomes feedback and iterative design environment .
  • Create and maintain templates for print and digital point-of-purchase retail campaigns utilizing partner specifications and artwork while maintaining brand standards .
  • Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders via strong communication, presentation, documentation, interpersonal and analytical skills .


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro) .
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships .
  • Proven experience designing assets for retail, consumer brands, or marketing campaigns .
  • Experience using Google Workspace including Google Slides .
  • Experience working with multiple languages and creating assets for multiple regions is a plus.
  • Extremely strong attention to detail, keen eye for 'on-brand' implementations, composition and design fundamentals .
  • Ability to communicate conceptual ideas and openness to feedback .
  • Basic knowledge of creating animations in Adobe After Effect s is a plus.
  • BA/BS in Graphic Design or related field (In lieu of degree, 5-7 years relevant work experience). 3-5 years of relevant work experience in production art .
  • Experience preparing both physical production files for manufacturing and digital assets for multiple platforms.
  • Strong eye for consistency and the ability to make assets look cohesive and similar regardless of size or language .
  • Ability to comfortably work with dielines and treatment layers; knowing when and how to adapt artwork as necessary for the highest quality .
