Digital Designer Jobs

An innovative telecommunications company is looking for a Visual Designer is a creative professional responsible for developing and implementing visual concepts and designs to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate the target audience. You will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of a brand, product, or project. This role involves collaborating with various teams, including marketing, product development, and UX/UI designers, to ensure a consistent and visually appealing user experience. This 3 year contract position is hybrid and located Bothell, WA | Atlanta, GA | Dallas, TX.

• Rate: $50-60hr based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, development, content, and project management, to ensure the visual design aligns with the project's goals and requirements.
• Maintain and uphold the brand's visual identity, including colors, typography, and design elements.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and materials.
• Create visually engaging elements that align with the brand's guidelines and resonate with the target audience.
• Be adaptable and flexible in responding to changing project requirements and deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct image editing and manipulation as necessary to align with the design requirements.
• Curate and select relevant images and photos to complement the design concept.
• Brainstorm and ideate creative concepts and design approaches that effectively convey the project's objectives and messages.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to bring innovative and fresh ideas to the projects.
• Create custom icons, infographics, and other visual assets to enhance communication and improve user understanding.
• Participate in design critiques, share ideas, and provide constructive feedback to improve the design quality and optimize the visual communication.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into visually attractive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Develop visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for a wide range of mediums, including websites, mobile apps, social media, marketing materials, etc.
• Implement design best practices to enhance the overall user experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Visual Designer or a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or other relevant design tools.
• Knowledge of current design trends, user-centered design, and usability principles.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Solid understanding of design principles, layout, color theory, and typography.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present design concepts and rationale to team members and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
