🎨 Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy: Define and execute a unified product vision for our digital magazine, personalized content, and advertising platforms.

• User-Centered Design: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to create engaging and delightful user interfaces.

• Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing to build, launch, and optimize product features.

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize metrics, user feedback, and data insights to iteratively refine and adapt the product.

• Go-to-Market Strategy: Plan and execute product launches, aligning with key stakeholders to drive market adoption.


🔑 A Glimpse into Day-to-Day Responsibilities


Strategy Development and Execution

  • Analyze user metrics and feedback to inform product roadmap decisions, presented weekly to leadership.
  • Lead daily stand-up meetings with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and eliminate roadblocks.

Technical Oversight

  • Work with the engineering team daily to define and prioritize the technical tasks.
  • Daily review of implementation status, including a hands-on review of codebase, data schemas, and architecture plans as needed.

Partner and Stakeholder Management

  • Regular interactions with internal teams and external partners to negotiate feature sets and timelines.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams for successful product launches and feature updates.

Team Leadership

  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer within the team and foster an innovative product culture.
  • Mentor junior product managers and cross-functional team members.


✅ Requirements:

• Experience: 10+ years in product management, with a strong background in digital advertising, content publishing, or related sectors.

• Skills: Outstanding analytical, communication, and project management skills.


🔧 Technical Requirements (Table Stakes):

• Data Analytics Tools: Proficiency in Google Analytics, Tableau, or equivalent.

• Ad Technologies: Understanding of ad-serving platforms, programmatic advertising, RTB, DSPs, SSPs, and audience targeting.

• Content Management Systems: Familiarity with leading CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or equivalent.

• Agile Methodology: Experience with agile development tools like JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.

• UX/UI Principles: Knowledge of user-centered design practices and tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD.

  • Experience in multiple 0-to-1 roles where you've contributed to building a successful, sustainable products business.
  • In-depth understanding of modern software architectures, including microservices and serverless computing.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management roles, specifically in technology startups.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data analytics tools like SQL, Tableau, or similar.
  • Extensive experience with modern product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
