Your Team
As a Lead, Product Owner on the Enterprise Digital Technology team, you will partner with tech leads, designers, engineers and delivery professionals to lead the development process and ensure that new digital capabilities meet Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). You will define a roadmap for a product or suite of related products collaborating with business functions, service teams and technology teams, identifying business outcomes and solutions that deliver on the product strategy to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services and experiences to delight our customers! The team supports the alignment of the Enterprise Digital Technology Marketing Technology Roadmap with those of the Business and Technology stakeholders that rely on these key capabilities to solve complex challenges and deliver user-focused digital tools that help deliver business outcomes. In addition to significant product expertise and analytic al experience , you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.
Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day
  • Work with Tech lead to build a modular & reusable solution s
  • Communicate frequently with business stakeholders to ensure engagement and buy-in on decisions and proposed solutions
  • Ensure alignment of product features and stories, i.e., review, give feedback, and prioritize user stories in line with own vision
  • Leads discussions and decisions around technology options, supports building product teams for execution and has responsibility for the product backlog.
  • Lead sprint and release plans together with the Scrum Master and organizational technology teams
  • Create and maintain an ongoing product roadmap by working with business areas to identify , sequence, and prioritize enhancement requests
  • Coordinate, plan and lead UAT sessions for business stakeholders
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
  • Ability to lead independently with guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization   
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills; enjoy learning new skills  
  • Experience with full software development life cycle (SDLC)  in an Agile environment
  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges 
  • Deep knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business 
  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering; Analytics; or experience in related fields
Applied experience and/or deep expertise with several of the following:
  • Effective Communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit , receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Financial/ Business Acumen: Strong Knowledge of financial and/or business concepts, tools and processes and how financial metrics are used to monitor and drive outcomes. Includes understanding of company accounts/metrics (ex: balance sheet, profit/loss, cash flow, budget & forecast).
  • Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Experience working in or with one or more business function (product, marketing, service, technology, customer experience, direct-to-consumer, etc.).
  • Proven experience with digital technology development
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Challenger mindset with the passion to challenge status quo to find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas – loves and embraces change.
  • Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology ; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery.
  • Decision-Making & Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $120,300.00 to $179,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
