As a Product Manager at Insense, you are the product leader for our customers (e-commerce SMBs and micro-influencers), helping to develop the first-choice product in the Creator Commerce space. You are expected to constantly find customer pain points and market insights to deliver products that fulfill customer expectations.


At Insense, the Creator (freelancer) marketplace is the product's core. Therefore, you’ll need to track its business and product metrics and drive customer behaviors by automating the marketplace product flow. As we’re currently working remotely, being available for open communication within Eastern Time Zone (New York) hours is essential to collaborate with team members and the core of our users.

🛠 Responsibilities


  • Drive full automation of marketplace transactions from customers’ perspectives (both sides)
  • Be an advocate for customers; master customer profiles & pain points to address them via product changes
  • Gain insights from users to enhance the product
  • Improve metrics by analyzing user behavior across multiple interfaces (desktop and mobile)
  • Collaborate with the engineering team & product team to ensure fast time-to-market
  • Build effective communication with cross-functional teams in order to achieve OKRs and Company Goals & Vision


👩🏻💻 Who we’re looking for?


Minimum Qualifications


  • Strong tendency to be proactive rather than reactive. Demonstrated self-driven behaviour.
  • Ability to identify, shape & validate opportunity hypotheses. Familiarity with a variety of test & learn techniques, along with capability to make sound judgment calls. You will be expected to decide which hypotheses get more investment, and which hypotheses get killed. Running this cycle quickly & efficiently is essential.
  • Proven ability to create a product map for a certain product area, manage and explain priorities on a bi-weekly basis
  • Experience with various qualitative user research methods in different stages of product development cycle
  • Experience in changing marketplace behaviours for customers (balance supply-demand/ working on supply-demand liquidity/ creating network effects moats/ growing GMV or AOV/ etc)
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relations with internal & external stakeholders
  • 5+ years experience as a Product Manager
  • Proven ability to make decisions and take a creative approach to solving problems
  • Experience with Google Analytics/Amplitude and working with Product designers
  • Proficiency in collecting and calculating data, including finding correlations and making decisions based on data analysis
  • Passion and empathy for customers (eCom enterpreneurs and creators)


Preferred Qualifications


  • Asynchronous working experience with a distributed team
  • Working with SQL databases, writing queries and creating dashboards
  • Product experience with a focus on the US or European markets
  • Proven cases when the integration of 3rd party software (eCom or social platforms integration is a big plus)
  • Experience as a Senior Product Manager who drives product changes autonomously
  • Experience with no code / ML / ChatGPT / SDK solutions that can speed MVP time-to-market significantly
  • Experience with web & mobile apps
