Job Description

GLOBAL MANUFACTURER | 100% Covered Benefits! | DIRECT HIRE

Aegis is currently partnered with a global manufacturer north of the Indianapolis, IN area who is seeking a direct-hire Procurement Buyer to join their team! Day to day, this individual will be handling the cost analytics, managing supplier relationships, building cost sheets, and presenting what they are finding to the company's decision makers.


DIRECT-HIRE

HOURS: 8:30AM-5PM (After 6 months, capability of working remotely for one day / week!)

PAY: $60K-$75K

100% COVERED BENEFITS!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage up to 15 supplier accounts.
  • Gain deep knowledge of industry trends related to commodity group.
  • Responsible for up to $500 million in annual company spend.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time to local vendors.
  • Lead the supplier's account manager/director-level in the activities of sourcing, annual cost reduction, and other functions.


Qualifications:

  • Associate degree required.
  • 2-3 Years' experience in manufacturing industry
  • 2-3 Years' experience with supplier negotiation
