WildBlue Press is a Denver, Colorado book publisher. Since 2014 we have published more than 240 titles across eight genres from 130+ authors in print, eBook and audio book formats. Our authors include Pulitzer Prize winners, Edgar winners, and NY Times bestsellers, as well as first-time authors whose writing careers we have launched.
For this remote position, we are looking for someone with strong social media (especially Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram) communication skills, Mailchimp experience, and a self-starter who takes the initiative while being task-oriented and accountable and meets deadlines. Although this position starts out as part-time at 20 hours per week, the option for close to full-time is definitely possible once you have proven your performance.
Requirements for this position are below.
MUST HAVES
o Your own computer.
o USA weekday availability.
o Excellent time management, experience with scheduling, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
o Timely responsiveness to all communications including via email, text, phone, and (occasional) video call.
o Solid experience and interest in social media practices and content creation, including graphics and video curation.
o Be very familiar with Facebook Groups, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, TikTok, and Twitter.
o Familiarity with Canva or other content creation tools.
o Experience with Agorapulse or similar social media management and scheduling tools.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
o Experience with Mailchimp (Primarily, that is what we use) or similar marketing and email tools.
o A desire to help the company grow our social media reach, views and shares.
o Experience with Wordpress.
GREAT TO HAVE
o Book, eBook, audiobook marketing and sales experience.
o Experience writing and distributing press releases.
o Public relations experience in reaching out to media, podcasters, radio shows, etc, would be handy as well.
o Experience maximizing Amazon book reviews.
o Goodreads: Goodreads is the world's biggest social media site dedicated specifically to books.
o Street Team communications and management.
