Job Description

Our elite global Private Equity client is seeking to recruit an Analyst with advanced Excel skills to perform portfolio and investment valuation analysis, financial modeling and assist the team with structuring and closing investment transactions while maximizing investment returns.


Responsibilities:


  • Create monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages
  • Develop financial models in Excel
  • Analyze the fund's quarterly capital calls
  • Track fund and investment performance vs. expectations
  • Perform portfolio and investment valuation analysis
  • Work closely with the investment team, the asset management team and portfolio company senior management to analyze and synthesize detailed financial data
  • Assist with developing marketing materials, presentations and performance reports
  • Perform risk management, portfolio surveillance and assist the team with structuring and closing investment transactions while maximizing investment returns
  • Analyze complex data sets and develop KPIs to measure investment returns


Requirements:


  • 1-3 years of valuation analysis, portfolio analysis or investment performance analysis experience
  • Highly motivated and organized with a keen interest in learning and being challenged
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced analytical skills and business acumen
  • Fundamental knowledge of financial markets, corporate finance, credit and valuation analysis
  • Advanced Excel modeling and analysis skills
