Portfolio Manager - Equity Vol
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager specializing in Equity Vol trading to lead a world-class team in systematic trading strategies across a range of strategies in mid to HFT trading
Offering a competitive compensation package, including base salary and PnL split up to 40%
As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing trading strategies, managing risk, overseeing the performance of the portfolio, mentoring junior traders, and staying up-to-date with the latest market trends and opportunities. You will work closely with the research and engineering teams to develop and optimize the trading model and provide leadership to the team.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior traders, including training on options trading techniques and risk management.
- Manage risk effectively to achieve desired risk-adjusted returns.
- Monitor and analyse market conditions to identify new trading opportunities and adjust - portfolio positions accordingly.
- Design and implement Equity Vol trading strategies to optimize portfolio performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in options trading and apply them to improve portfolio performance.
- Oversee the performance of the options portfolio, including tracking and reporting on key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with research and engineering teams to develop and implement innovative trading strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of managing Equity Vol portfolios and achieving consistent returns.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to analyze complex market data.
- Experience with trading platforms, risk management systems, and trading tools.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior traders.
- Strong knowledge and experience in vol/ options trading, including various strategies and risk management techniques,
