Job Description
Plant Manager is responsible for all aspects of the short and long – term operations for production blending, maintenance, warehousing, and delivery for the production facility located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Ultimately responsible for the quality of the work environment that exists throughout the Operations department.
  • Schedule production and packaging to meet customers deliver needs within policy by optimizing logistics for production, packaging, and delivery.
  • Responsible for process maintenance, preventative maintenance, facilities management, and work order systems.
  • Responsible for ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest standards on a daily basis. This includes buildings, grounds, and utilities.
  • Responsible for asset protection and maintenance systems for lowest cost of ownership and longest life of service.
  • Train operations team members to the best standard of job performance, including ISO requirements and safety best practices, including the development and maintenance of cross-training plans that ensure coverage for all key skills.
  • Provide leadership in applying and maintaining quality policies, communicating the needs of the Operations group, and supporting Operations team members.
  • Accountable for oversight of multiple smaller projects.
  • Direct the daily activities of Blenders, Maintenance Technicians, Warehouse Team Members, and Drivers to maximize production.
  • Develop annual facilities condition report for capital planning purposes.
  • Establish optimal inventory levels and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and monitor key performance criteria such as RFT, on-time delivery, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to drive improvement in the organization.
  • Plan and implement effective preventative maintenance schedules for all operations equipment.
  • Proactively plan, evaluate, and implement processes for continuous operations improvements.
  • Responsible for direct project management of large capital projects.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and service life management of the mobile fleet.
  • Responsible for complying with state and federal requirements (OSHA, DNR, EPA) through maintenance monitoring and support.
  • Act as a key member of the Emergency Response Team and as an alternate Qualified Individual for Spill Response.


Required Skills & Experience


  • 5 + years of Project Management.
  • 5 + years leading EHS teams and processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant course of study.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • QMS experience or training is a plus.
  • 5 + five years of experience in operations management.
