Job Description

Job Summary:

As an integral part of S&OP, the objective of this role is to work closely with Shiseido international affiliates as it relates to end-to-end order management, allocations, and reporting.

Also, the role will work closely with Supply/Forecasting on demand and allocations planning, and with Shiseido Distribution Center on order fulfillment and on-time shipment.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support international affiliates as it relates to orders, shipments, freshness, stock, and urgent needs for sales activities.
  • Validate and process monthly orders for Shiseido international affiliates.
  • Analyze allocation discrepancies and work with Demand Planning and Shiseido Affiliates to resolve.
  • Become the main point of contact for Shiseido affiliates for respective brands/regions.
  • Join monthly demand review calls as needed to understand affiliate trends in the business and answer order/shipment-related questions
  • Partner with the Transportation team to prioritize shipping plans and ensure on-time shipment.
  • Participate in monthly meetings with international regions to review issues and/or propose process improvements.
  • Analyze sales and shipment fulfillment reports
  • Partner with Shiseido Distribution Center to investigate shipment discrepancy claims for international shipments.
  • Collaborate with the supply planning team on Affiliates needs, allocations planning, and stock constraints.
  • Generate and distribute weekly and monthly reports to management and Shiseido Affiliates.
  • Manage and control allocations for launches, POSM, and limited-edition items
  • Manage sell-in quantities for limited edition launches & POSM and initiate 2x year chargeback process.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in SAP is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • 4-year college degree
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain and operations
  • Comfort with shifting priorities and rapid changes.
  • 2+ years’ experience in sales operations, allocations, supply chain or related function
  • Highly motivated, self-starting individual & strategic thinker
