Pharmacy Automation Engineer, Mail Center, Hooksett, Nh

• Administers and distribute all new-hire training and departmental-specific competencies required by the department and accrediting agencies.
• Prepares prescription and non-prescription medication and/or devices.
• Serves as a preceptor and assists with orienting and training of pharmacy department staff.
• Accommodating a flexible schedule if the line needs maintenance on the weekends or after hours.
• Cross-trains in different roles within the facility to be flexible based on the needs of the organization.
• Assumes overall responsibility for all pharmacy production lines, robotics, and adherence packaging.
• Installs, troubleshoots, services, and maintains robotics and automation products (hardware and software). Reactively dispatches and preventative maintenance of automation machinery.
• Performs preventative measures to ensure proper production line and systems performance.
• Ensures an adequate supply of parts is on-site at all times.
• Stocks and replenishes stock locations and automated dispensing machines (ADMs) and/or robots (example: shelves, carousels, Parata).
• Performs audits.
• Monitors, troubleshoots, and resolves any problems and/or issues related to the medication automation equipment. Escalates any issues which cannot be resolved through the proper channels to management and vendors.
• Develops training manuals and revised annually.
• Communicates supply issues, problems, or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.

• High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, creativity, flexibility, diplomacy, Ability to work as part of a team with positive team culture.
• Demonstrated excellence in written, oral, computer, and presentation skills with active and respectful listening skills desired.
• Registration New Hampshire registered Pharmacy tech preferred.
• Pharmacy automation work experience or IT/technical background in robotics, automation, and mechanics. IT and/or technical background in robotics, automation, and mechanics.
• Ability to set up routers and switches and know about TCP/IP. Multi-site management experience.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases.
• 5-8 years of related work experience required in automation systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft operating systems.

Required Licensure/Certifications

• EPA certification for working with refrigerants (must obtain EPA certification within one year of hire)
