Mail Order Pharmacy Technician Jobs

This is a remote position

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must hold an active Registered or Certified Technician license with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of Ohio.

Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification (CPhT) as per State requirements.

Pharmacy data entry experience; minimum one year.

Prepare audit sheets and provide feedback to manager.

High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

General computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.

Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

5-8 years of related work experience required in automation systems.

Pharmacy automation work experience or IT/technical background in robotics, automation, and mechanics. IT and/or technical background in robotics, automation, and mechanics.

Advanced skills with Microsoft applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases.

Demonstrated excellence in written, oral, computer, and presentation skills with active and respectful listening skills desired.

May produce reports and keep management informed of unpaid claims and claims pending follow-up

Performs other tasks as assigned, which can include assisting in any area of the pharmacy as directed by management

Must be Pharmacy Technician Licenses/Certifications

Maintains current knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes

Licenses/Certifications: As required by state regulations and business needs

Performs drug calculations including basic mathematical calculations (e.g., converting milligrams)

Must complete state required bi-annual continuing education requirements for licensure

Accepts incoming telephone requests from plan members for medication consultation, patient education, mail order process, and interchange processes.

Assists in training and orientation of new employees, participates in quality improvement programs and educational activities.

One year professional experience in pharmacy setting

2-5 years of retail or mail order pharmacy experience

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED
