Personal Assistant/Caregiver Jobs

We are looking for a personal assistant/caregiver for our mom, or as most of her friends call her, a grand dame. Our dad died 6 years ago, and we all want mom to have support to allow her to maintain her independence. The ideal person would like to live in Palm Springs for 6-7 months of the year and 4 months in Chicago and is free to travel. This person is stylish, smart, organized, able to assist with technology (ie. when the tv remote doesn’t work) and has nursing experience.

We would like this person to manage mom’s correspondence, calendar, and appointments; run errands such as food shopping; organize and manage daily medications, help plan healthy meals, drive mom to and from appointments; interface with mom’s office staff who manage household bills and assist with other daily tasks as required. Additional staff are available to cover days off.

We are prepared to offer up to $130,000 plus benefits, paid vacation, and private living accommodations.
