Our team has a big heart when it comes to supporting people and culture which is why we are looking for our next People Generalist to join the Broomfield, CO team! This role has the flexibility to participate in a hybrid work schedule with 2+ days per week at the Broomfield, CO headquarters and partial remote flexibility.

The Role – People Generalist

Viega LLC is looking for a dynamic and personable People Generalist that has a passion for establishing strong partnerships, building an inclusive culture, and contributing to an impactful people strategy. With a mindful approach and consistent guidance, traditional, “employee relations” will only be a fraction of this role. You’ll have the ability to partner with all levels of the organization and have an essential impact on process improvement, organizational design, performance, career growth, diversity and inclusion, talent acquisition, and people engagement.


Role Details:

Responsibilities

  • Manage offboarding and support onboarding
  • Foster a transparent and supportive environment with a focus on coaching and development
  • Utilize a thoughtful and consistent approach to drive performance management initiatives and manage employee relations or full-cycle investigations, when necessary
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development needs to ensure training needs are met
  • Support Talent Acquisition and Implement solutions and help scale the business
  • Manage, develop and improve internal processes and policies
  • Support development sessions with managers and team building activities
  • Ensure teams are clear on their objectives and aligned on organization initiatives
  • Provide clear, constructive, and transparent feedback
  • Serve as a key ambassador by instilling the Viega Values in our culture in your everyday work: Achieve Goals, Be Empowered, Show Respect, Assume Responsibility, Build Trust
  • Contribute to People Team projects and initiatives
  • Ensure job descriptions and new roles meet organizational needs
  • Participate in company-wide community efforts and Viega Social Committee


Strategic Partnership

  • Support organizational talent acquisition strategy and planning efforts
  • Partner with leadership on the alignment of company culture, values, and strategy
  • Support leaders in aligning current and future business needs that focus on opportunities that directly impact the growth and competitiveness of the business
  • Train and coach leadership on appropriate and effective feedback methods
  • Partner with leaders to ensure Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging are engrained in the organization.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to apply a sensible understanding and guidance to leadership and employees in written and verbal form
  • The drive to go above and beyond to support employees at all levels

  • Strong presentation skills with the capability of delivering presentations to large groups

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • 8+ years of experience in human resources, organizational development, training, or other related fields
  • HR Certification is a plus
  • 5+ years of employee relations experience is required
