Job Description
Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Supervises: N/A

Compensation: Compensation is dependent on experience and ranges from $70,000-$75,000/annually.
General Summary:
Responsible for the administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs to ensure all policies and procedures are being administered fairly and consistently throughout the facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Help to identify, develop material, and facilitate HR related management and employee training.
  • Maintains active membership and participation in the CCC Safety Committee as well as department safety meetings
  • Participates in the Interview and hire process of personnel for both part time and full-time position openings.
  • Other duties, as assigned
  • Administer legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • In conjunction with Management, assists in the performance review process, coaching, and conducts routine disciplinary meetings for employees; refers escalated or complex disciplinary actions to HR Manager
  • Maintains support role in conducting workplace accident/injury/incident investigations
  • Provide management and team members with information and interpretation of human resource policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Acts as the Ambassador for ASM Global Acts program.

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive Employee Relations experience, required
  • Minimum of 4 years Human Resources experience, required
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience is required
Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent record of dependability and reliability
  • Perform leadership role and job tasks effectively despite sudden deadlines and changing priorities
  • Work effectively with diverse groups of people among all levels within an organization; skill to work effectively as part of a team
  • Customer Service experience
  • Demonstrate excellent communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills among all levels of staff and clientele, required
  • Provide customer service in a professional considerate manner
  • High degree of judgement, discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to speak, understand, and read standard English, required;
Computer Skills:
  • Intermediate computer skills including ability to create word documents and excel spreadsheets
