Payroll/Accounting Clerk Jobs

We are looking for a Payroll/Accounting Clerk that has at least three years of experience in payroll and/or accounting. Is a superstar at being detail-orientated with the ability to analyze detailed issues, problem solve, and able to recommend solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Must possess close attention to detail; identifies and resolves problems or suggestions in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
• Assist with end of month, year-end reconciliations, and other engagements.
• ACH & Wire electronic transactions.
• Record payroll details for the general ledger and maintain and reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts.
• Accounts receivable data entry.
• Accounts receivable collections and contact with customers.
• Accounts payable data entry as needed for backup.
• Additional job responsibilities as seen necessary by the supervisor.
• Credit card postings and reconciliation
• Support the Controller with accounting functions.
• Capable of independent work as well as being a team player.
• Accurate and timely processing of semi-monthly payrolls and ensure employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner.
• Compiles and enters hourly/flat rate, commission, and bonuses. Enter payroll data such as garnishments, retro pay, vacation time, insurance benefits, 401(k) deductions, etc
• Daily banking maintenance and postings

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license and a high school education or equivalent.
• Automotive experience is preferred but not required.
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous Payroll and Accounting experience.
• Possess a high degree of professional judgment, integrity, and confidentiality.
