What You'll Be Doing

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
• Address and resolve any payroll-related questions or issues from employees.
• Develop systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g., salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, and third-party payments).
• Prepare and present reports detailing the payroll function to company leaders.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
• Develop, implement, and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency.
• Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
• Coordinate with People and Finance teams to verify employee offer letters, role changes, salary changes, promotions, and any other payroll-related changes.

What You'll Bring

You Will Have:

• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience with payroll systems and payroll tax filings.
• Understanding of multi-state payroll and tax regulations.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a payroll.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Salary range: 75,000-105,000 USD
