Experience and knowledge of total quality management principles, performance improvement techniques and principles of improvement science, patient and associate safety methodologies.

A minimum of (3) years of direct experience in the design, development and implementation of Quality/Incident Management/Lean/Patient Safety/Patient Experience/HRO.

High degree of knowledge and practice in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, and Change Management.

Strong practitioner of LSS, Quality Management System, assessment and analysis, risk and error reduction, human factors, etc. tools and techniques.

Must be able to link and make relevant care/services outcomes to patient satisfaction, financial, and other NGH goals.

Capable as an events investigator (RCA) and risk analyst (FMEA).

Lean Leader Certification and acts as a Lean Leader Coach and resource for facilitating performance improvement and patient safety.

Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows

Responsible for ensuring all external data submission is accurate, complete, and timely for external reporting.

In collaboration with the CQO, provides quality performance improvement consultation to hospital service lines.

Participates in organizational intensive assessments and root cause analysis reviews with the CQO/CMO to identify system issues.

Provides Quality oversight of the Peer Review Process to include OPPE, FPPE, and case review for the Peer Review Committee.

Experience directly related to creation, manipulation, and management of complex data sets, analytical tools, and database applications for healthcare organizations.

Must also possess demonstrated skill in problem analysis, project management, conflict resolution and oral/written presentation.

Progressive knowledge of process/quality improvement and Lean Methodologies.

Master's degree in healthcare related field or experience consistent with Master's degree.

Requires ability to balance and manage multiple projects.

Oncology Quality and Safety Program Manager

Work requires a minimum of five years in business, hospital operations or project management.

Significant experience in, clinical education, patient safety, quality improvement, Human Factors engineering is strongly preferred.

Consultative skills required, experience strongly preferred

Support determination of budgetary requirements for ongoing support

Guide affiliations to accreditation, regulatory, and certification standards

Provide performance feedback of key personnel associated with remote programs

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and healthcare standards related to quality and safety

Communicate key topics with PM Pediatric Care team. Implement training and educational programs on quality and safety methodologies for healthcare staff

Ensure adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations, requirements, guidelines, and accreditation standards

5 years of healthcare experience required

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

In collaboration with program leaders, develop, implement, and maintain patient safety and quality workflows. Ensure processes are integrated throughout the organization

Bachelor's degree or five (5) years of related job or industry experience in lieu of degree.

Facilitates meetings, presents data and reports, identifies key findings and assists with action plans and implementation.
