Reports to: Director of Programs overseeing Region
Part-Time $25/Hour
Position Summary: The Program Manager will play a key role in the successful implementation and management of programs within their assigned region. Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of programs, coordinating program activities, managing program staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed curricula. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting individuals and communities impacted by trauma, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. This position is currently available as a part-time opportunity with the ability to go full-time in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Program Management:
• Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs within the assigned region.
• Develop program schedules, timelines, and work plans to ensure program activities are executed effectively and efficiently.
• Monitor program outcomes and progress, collecting and analyzing data to measure program effectiveness and impact.
• Ensure program compliance with established protocols, policies, and procedures, as well as any funding requirements or regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with program staff to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, trauma-informed curricula that meet the needs of the target population.
• Regularly assess program risks, challenges, and opportunities, and develop strategies for addressing them.
2.Program Implementation Team Supervision and Support:
• Supervise program implementation team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
• Facilitate regular team meetings to ensure open communication, information sharing, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting professional development and growth opportunities for program staff.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback.
• Ensure staff compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
3.Community & Alumni Engagement:
• Collaborate with the Director of Programs to build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, facilities, and other relevant organizations.
• Attend meetings, conferences, and community events to represent the organization, build networks, and identify potential collaboration opportunities, and recruit Alumni.
• Act as a liaison between the organization and students, alumni, and community members.
• Respond to inquiries, feedback, and concerns from students and alumni in a timely and professional manner.
4.Program Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare regular reports on program activities, outcomes, and progress for the Director of Programs, facilities, Executive Director, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records, including participant data, attendance, evaluations, and other relevant information.
• Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, funding reports, and other documentation as required.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, nonprofit management) • Minimum 3 years of experience in program management or related roles, preferably in a nonprofit or social services setting • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based practices • Experience working with diverse populations and communities impacted by trauma • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a collaborative and inclusive approach • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications • Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed • Passion for and commitment to the mission and values of Yoga 4 Change
