Job Description
Job Summary:
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the company operates within guidelines, regulations, and ethical standards. They will monitor business operations, report any infractions, review company policies for risks and liabilities, and research legal requirements for current and new initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Document processes followed to ensure accurate replication.
  • Regularly manage emails, Salesforce, and other systems used to request work.
  • Maintain licensing needs for Home Office employees, including applying for and tracking CE credits for licenses.
  • Maintain process and procedure manual for the area.
  • Manage licensed associates within Brightway system license tracking, set up Salesforce license records, and track CE credits.
  • Proactively analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
  • Listen to and incorporate feedback.
  • Document activities and follow-up in appropriate systems regularly and accurately.
  • Work with E&O carrier to resolve possible E&O cases and maintain E&O roster.
  • Fulfill requesters' needs, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Manage workload effectively and efficiently, develop calendars and checklists for ongoing work.
  • Make outbound calls or send emails to clarify information or gather correct information.
  • Complete annual filings for states that Brightway conducts business within.
  • Work as part of a team and ensure work is complementary and not duplicative or conflicting.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a professional workplace.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Superior ability to manage time, activities, projects, and resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Salesforce.
  • Deep understanding of Brightway systems and the ability to update activities accurately.
