We are seeking a highly motivated Part-Time Accounting Specialist who is a self-starter and wants to hit the ground running! The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Additionally, this role will support administration with various projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Special projects and/or additional opportunities when necessary
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly/quarterly budget reports and support month and year end close process
- Enter vendor bills and PO’s into NetSuite and follow up on inquiries, payment status, credits and other items
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and related data entry and reconciliation
- Support and maintain general aspects of A/P and A/R – invoicing, collections, PO’s, money transfers, banking records, entering and categorizing bills, financial statements and reports
- Overall maintenance of financial records ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate, and secure
QUALIFICATIONS
- Drive and desire to expand knowledgebase and grow
- Basic understanding of payroll and benefits administration
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
- 1-2 years of experience in general accounting
- General knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience working with a general ledger system. NetSuite experience would be a plus
- Ability to handle confidential material with a high level of professionalism and tact
- Associate degree, or equivalent, in business, accounting or related discipline
