BASN is looking for an Associate Media Manager to join our team.
The Associate Manager will aid in media strategy, development, and execution of paid media across all BODYARMOR and Powerade brands. The Associate Media Manager will work collaboratively with the brand team and larger corporate marketing department to drive strategy and planning for all paid media campaigns both nationally and regionally. Priority media channels include paid social, digital, OOH, TV/streaming, radio, and search, but all media channels will be considered and potentially activated against during a given campaign. The Associate Media Manager will be responsible for ensuring alignment with other cross-functional team members who will help deliver assets for the media plan.
BASN is looking for someone with a collaborative mindset, and excellent organizational and communication skills to help steward the end-to-end planning and investment processes. This person will help spearhead direct conversations with external media partners/agencies, and internal counterparts to ensure team adheres to strict timelines and executes media plans with excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with internal leadership to support the management of the external media agency partner(s).
- Collaborative team member responsible for gaining internal alignment on all media plans with cross-functional counterparts and senior leadership.
- Responsible for Media invoice processing with our Finance department.
- Responsible for the navigation of multiple stakeholders, budget, and timing constraints in a professional, efficient manner both internally and externally.
- Maintain the budget tracking and reconciliation of all media campaigns with the management of <$1M - $20M+ budgets.
- Coordinate the management of internal cross-functional teams to deliver creative assets against the media plans for all brands.
- Participate in the development of paid media strategy and plan including paid social, digital, OOH, TV, paid search, radio, and new media for all brands ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Liaison with the field marketing and customer marketing teams to deliver local paid media plans that support retail programs.
- Aid in negotiation and planning process with external media partners to ensure efficient spend and maximum exposure for the brands across key media outlets.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be high-energy self-starter with team player mindset
- Project management and multi-tasking skills
- Position requires in-person attendance at bi-annual company retreats/meetings
- Problem solving
- Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4 years relevant media experience (media agency experience a plus) required
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently both individually and as a team operating in a fast, complex environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Relationship management
- Position requires travel (30%) by car and plane, including both local and neighboring geographic territories.
- Sports & Entertainment industry experience a plus
- Creative trafficking experience preferred
- Media planning and/or investment experience required
- Budget management and reconciliation experience

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $100,000 annually
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
