The Program Management Office (PMO) drives the prioritization and execution of a portfolio of initiatives and projects that are aligned with APD Operation’s strategic vision and goals.

The Project Coordinator will have a keen grasp of operations and business processes and will leverage this knowledge to link each project to larger organizational goals and initiatives. The Project Coordinator will support prioritized projects to completion by overseeing and coordinating projects, contribute to project planning, monitor project activities, and evaluate status for ongoing projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead meetings and report on progress to APD Operations leadership team
  • Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan
  • Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams to support project oversight including planning, task, and risk management
  • Support smaller initiatives in additional to formal project to meet quarterly team deliverables
  • Analyze project(s) progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results
  • Develop cross functional partnerships, including the PMO teams to help drive projects to completion

Requirements:

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Project
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Experience utilizing standard project management tools and practices
  • 3+ years of project coordination or project management experience
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant field preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills

$60,000 - $75,000 a year
Protective’s targeted salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective’s total compensation package for employees.

This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive based on individual and Company performance.
