Job Description
Newly founded, mission-driven non-profit organization focused on bringing mental health therapies to underserved communities is looking for an Operations Director. As the first hire, you will be responsible to getting the organization up and running through implementing payroll & benefits, devising on/offboarding and other employee processes & programs, identifying and building out the office space, setting up their systems, and liaising between the Chairman of the Board, board members, and therapists. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is excited about building the organization from scratch and is passionate about the mission! They are hoping to find an office in Brooklyn, NY near Fort Green where you will be expected to work 5 days a week. 90K+ DOE + benefits will be included once they are implemented!


Responsibilities


  • Manage contracts with vendors, service providers, and office lease.
  • Implement and manage employee onboarding and offboarding process.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and systems.
  • Edit, format, and design marketing materials.
  • Identify office space options and manage build-out.
  • Handle logistics of all meetings and events including venue selection, menu planning, registrations, and volunteers.
  • Maintain office space and arrange necessary repairs.
  • Coordinate with service providers in human resources, finance and IT.
  • Support the Board of Directors, managing communications, scheduling and meeting
  • Logistics.
  • Develop administrative policies and procedures.
  • Develop and adhere to meeting and event budgets.
  • Board Chair and Treasurer.
  • Review and process invoices for payment.
  • Manage human resources and payroll.
  • Grant management.
  • Manage budgets and financial reports, under the advisement and mentorship of the
