Job Summary
The specialist is responsible for learning and processing the assigned daily tasks as well as following expected departmental/firm guidelines for behavior, professionalism, attendance, management of PTO, etc. Specialist is required to have an understanding we are operate in a highly regulated/changing environment and must be willing and able to accept and adapt to change. Specialist is responsible for creating plans to ensure daily tasks are completed in a timely manner. Able to communicate in verbal/and written forms to articulate themselves with clear and professional dialogue both internally and externally. Ability to focus on improvement of own work/competencies and takes action on personal development.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• DVP/RVP USD and CAD settlements.
• Provide support to Trading/Sales and customers alike.
• Reconcile trade comparisons for step-outs and step-in’s (ACT/ORF).
• Syndicate trade processing.
• Daily reconciliation firm positions and market side breaks.
• End of day trade processing/Fidessa trade matching.
• Monitor and adjust stock dividends/splits/Corporate Actions for firm accounts.
• Voluntary/Mandatory election processing for firm accounts.

Education And Experience

• Minimum Required: Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience [3-6 years].

• Minimum Required: None

Systems and Technology

• Strong understanding of Thomson One/Beta, Fidessa Trading System, FDA, NetX360, Omgeo/ALERT, Ipreo, KBW internal applications (KBW TRADES tool), KBW/Stifel intranet.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
