Job Description

POSITION: New York Film Festival Partnerships & Advertising Assistant

DEPARTMENT: Partnerships & Advertising

LOCATION: Lincoln Center, New York City

DURATION: Full-time, August 7 – October 20, 2023

RATE: $900/week

Film at Lincoln Center fulfills its mission through the programming of festivals, series, retrospectives, and new releases; the presentation of podcasts, talks, and special events; and the creation and implementation of artist initiatives. Since its founding in 1969, this nonprofit organization has brought the celebration of American and international film to the world-renowned Lincoln Center arts complex, making the discussion and appreciation of cinema accessible to a broad audience and ensuring that it remains an essential art form for years to come.


JOB OVERVIEW

The Partnerships & Advertising Assistant supports the work of the Partnerships & Advertising department with coordination, activation, and wrap of all corporate partnerships and advertising packages at the 61st New York Film Festival (NYFF61), scheduled for Sept. 29 – Oct. 15, 2023.



PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  • Assist with aggregating and organizing proof of performance assets and photography
  • Assist with trafficking creative assets and obtaining partner approvals for both partnerships and advertising campaigns
  • Help fulfill NYFF partnership ticketing needs and track RSVPs for key events
  • Help with partner check-in at screenings and select events
  • Maintain internal partnership reports and production documents
  • Liaise with the NYFF production team to coordinate the delivery and distribution of partner products and materials

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other software platforms
  • Professionalism and appropriate decorum when interacting with colleagues and partners
  • Availability to work on evenings and weekends during NYFF61
  • 1-2 years of work experience either during college or post-graduation
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team, take initiative, anticipate challenges, solve problems, and remain calm under pressure

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Comfortable working in Google Suite and Excel
  • Love of film
  • Ticketing or front-of-house experience
  • Experience with Eventival or Tessitura
  • Arts festival and/or event production experience
