Job Description

Hampton is a private, highly-vetted community for founders, entrepreneurs, and CEOs. We built in private for about 8 months and launched publicly in late March 2023. We have hundreds members and like to believe we’re creating the highest quality, most engaged & valuable founder network in the world.


We’re currently looking for a New Member Experience Lead to help oversee a few critical areas, including new member onboarding, core group curation, core group experience, and the renewal lifecycle.


The perfect candidate has previous experience in a community or membership-based business and has led product or member experience. This mid/senior-level person will be able to jump in and develop processes and systems that will help us scale while even furthering our focus on creating value for our members.


You should have an already-established comfort level speaking with founders and CEOs, and be someone that’s truly energized by solving problems and being in a high impact role.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Oversee and drive the new member onboarding process, which includes everything from email, slack, direct mail/welcome, coffee chats, and general orientation to Hampton benefits
  • Develop the best core group curation system and implement in an iterative fashion
  • Take the current program we have for core group experiences and iterate beyond year one, while improving the existing playbook
  • Manage the relationships with our 25+ executive facilitators while attracting more to the team
  • Evolve our current core group feedback systems into something more streamlined, actionable, and scalable
  • Help facilitate surprise & delight moments for new members in the first 30 days of their Hampton experience
  • Oversee the renewal lifecycle, which includes messaging, operations, and optimization


We're looking for people who have:

  • 5+ years of experience in community, retention, or membership roles
  • An ability to be both extremely scrappy and also methodical in how you build
  • 3+ years experience working with or alongside founders, C-suite, and/or entrepreneurs
  • Great personality, humble, witty banter and sarcasm necessary
  • Experience in small companies, startups, venture capital, or tech is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate in a very fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability to build rapport with founders and entrepreneurs in a digital environment
