Job Description

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid work position: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role allows them to work at a GM facility or off-site, but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite 2-3 days each week or as needed.

The Role:

The New Business Planning and Industry Intelligence Analyst is responsible for supporting new CCA business opportunities through the planning and development process with a specific focus on the construction of “As-Is” and “To Be” process diagrams and models. This Analyst will also leverage industry data to drive growth and leverage opportunities to drive CCA business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide CCA with meaningful and actionable insights through market and industry analysis
  • Support in identifying projects/programs that require enterprise integration and develop solutions
  • Organize and analyze data to determine CCA needs
  • Lead large cross-functional groups in the construction of “As-Is” and “To Be” processes diagrams and models. Manage the identification, documentation, and traceability of business requirements. Investigate and document complex business processes
  • Transform data into insight to help improve the value of CCA business
  • Engage and lead cross-functional teams to develop end-to- end solutions for business opportunities for both vehicle and non-vehicle projects/programs
  • Prepare presentations for various levels of leadership
  • Analyze and communicate aftersales industry trends and information gathered from various sources

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • High level of interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities
  • Practical/Intermediate experience with Microsoft Applications (including PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and OneNote)
  • Cross functional experience working with multiple areas responsible to execute a common goal
  • Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Adept analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Able to creatively solve complex problems
