Job Description

We are looking for a qualified virtual assistants to support our construction industry clients. Our virtual assistants are responsible for providing a wide variety of support services to clients. The virtual assistant may delegate some or all of his/her work, acting as a single point of contact for other virtual assistants when applicable. Often, the virtual assistant serves in the role of an executive assistant, personal assistant or administrative assistant to clients.THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION AND CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE AND BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE USA.



Qualifications

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING CORE SKILLS:

  • Painting
  • Supplier and vendor relationships
  • Invoicing, billing, and collections
  • Building and construction permitting process
  • Professional verbal and written communication
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Minutes and notes taking
  • Roofing and siding
  • HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical
  • Electrical
  • Ability to perform data entry and analysis
  • Concrete construction
  • Working knowledge of support functions in the construction, trades, or related industries. The following areas are of particular interest:
  • Telephone and conference calling
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with particular focus on:
  • Calendar management and scheduling
  • Strong work ethic
  • Associates degree or some college preferred
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint
  • Bids and proposals
  • General residential and commercial construction

OTHER POSSIBLE SKILLS:

  • Bookkeeping

  • Social media monitoring and scheduling

SPECIALIZED SKILLS:

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • If necessary, babysitting services are arranged to provide a time slot of undisturbed, focused attention to details.
  • A workstation located in a room with a door to avoid distractions.
