Job Description

This position is within a processing team, supporting Life and Health Insurance, that is accountable for the support and distribution of work to team members and to provide support to our Financial Representatives. In addition, the position performs general administrative support functions such as distribution and sorting of incoming mail, scanned documents, computer output, and correspondence received from internal business units, members, and the field. This position contributes toward the processing of transactions and incoming phone calls by directing work quickly, accurately, and through a variety of formats to multiple work units and using written and verbal communication skills with Financial Representatives and other internal and external business areas to meet the needs of our customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze and route work, work orders and e-mails to the appropriate work queues.
  • Ability to update and review pending transactions within multiple processing and workflow systems.
  • Provide follow-up support for pending service transactions which requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail, including faxes and inter-office mail as well as a variety of non-complex research and order fulfillment activities.
  • Route and pend cases to appropriate work queues.


Required Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • Zero to one years related experience.
  • General insurance and financial product knowledge is desirable.
  • Basic keyboarding and PC knowledge
