Network Administrator- 5 Year Limited Duration

The Information & Technology Services Department is looking for a self-directed individual with demonstrated network and customer support skills in a 5-year limited duration Network Administrator role. Limited status equals full-time employment with a term of up to five years and the selected candidate will participate in benefit plans offered. Enjoy a flexible telecommuting schedule (3 days remote, 2 days on-site) as you support the Authority's network infrastructure and:

• Maximize network performance and uptime through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting; apply network IOS patches and firmware updates.
• Manage and update Cisco VoIP including Call Manager, Unity, Imagicle, IM&P, Expressway, Jabber, and Emergency Responder, Cisco Wireless (WLC 9800 and 5508) and Aruba (ClearPass, Mobility Master, AirWave), and Shared Tenant Services environment (routing, switching, wireless, and ASA Firewall).
• Perform daily network monitoring; conduct capacity and performance analysis and perform network configuration and upgrade changes; develop network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Develops and executes contingency and disaster recovery plans; partners with internal and external auditors to conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests; participates in a rotating on call schedule; performs related duties as assigned.
• Diagnose and resolve routine troubleshooting issues; collaborate with stakeholders and users to resolve any network related incidents; participate in a rotating weekly on-call schedule.

Required Education, Training and Experience:

• One year of progressively responsible experience in networking, Information Technology and associated systems, or security systems.
• Associate degree in computer science, management information systems or a closely related field.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience.

Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements:

• CCNA, CCNP (Routing & Switching), CCNP (Security), CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+. MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104), VCP (VMWare Certified Professional), NetApp Certified Technology Associate and higher.

The hiring salary for this position is $79,947.

The salary range for a Network Administrator is: $68,330 - $109,329.
