We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the architecture and development of our .NET desktop Windows application. Responsibilities:

• Tackle challenges and implement new features within our parallelized video recording services, enhancing the functionality of our application.
• Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with team members, aligning efforts, and achieving shared goals.
• Lead and champion the rearchitecting process for end-to-end features within our .NET desktop application, working closely with the Team Lead to achieve seamless integration.
• Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture design meetings, collaborating with fellow engineers to ensure code quality and robustness.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the existing codebase and propose architectural enhancements to improve its modularity, scalability, and maintainability.
• Craft code that adheres to high standards of quality, performance, and testability through comprehensive unit testing.

Experience:

• Familiarity with developer toolchains like Git and Jira to facilitate collaborative software development.
• Extensive experience in developing C# .NET desktop applications at scale using WPF and XAML.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience, OR a graduate of a coding boot camp with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical background with a proven track record of developing and maintaining high-availability, high-throughput enterprise applications.
• Bonus: Industry experience working with IP Cameras, contributing to a deeper understanding of system functionality.
• Hands-on experience in crafting asynchronous or multi-threaded applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Profound understanding and proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, design patterns, and thorough unit testing.

Required Experience:

• Experience with code scanning tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, JFrog X-Ray, Bridgecrew, Prisma Compute, or CodeQL.
• Exceptional communication skills, fostering effective collaboration and engagement with colleagues.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines, adapting to evolving project demands.
• AWS associate and/or professional-level certifications.
• Track record of conducting root cause analysis for CI/CD pipeline issues, AWS CloudFormation stack deployments, and AWS IAM permission challenges.
• Proficiency in multiple development languages (e.g., Java, Python, .NET) or equivalent.
• Flourish in a fast-paced environment that values results and fosters a positive team culture.
• Automation/scripting experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to optimize workflows.

Required Education:

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Top Technical Requirements:

• Experience working with SQL data stores is advantageous, contributing to efficient data management.
• Familiarity with version control using Git and issue tracking with Jira.
• Aptitude for problem-solving and crafting robust software solutions.
• Mastery of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and comprehensive unit testing practices.
• Proficiency in developing C# .NET desktop applications at scale using WPF and XAML.
