Job Description

Job Title: National Sales Manager, Remote with Travel

Location: Prefer remote candidatesin TX, will be expected to maintain a home office within a proximity of a major airport, Travel 50%

Requirements: Sales development, B2B outside sales experience into manufacturing, Business development, Building and growing sales teams

Headquartered in Los Angeles, we are a leading distributor of solder and soldering equipment to mid-size circuit board assembly, sheet metal manufacturing, energy components, and automotive components. Due to an increase in opportunitiesand an ever-growing international presence, we are in urgent need of hiring a National Sales Manager who possesses a proven record in closing outside sales to manufacturing and strong experiencein developing sales teams and processes.

What You Will Be Doing

As our National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for personally landing and closing recurring deals. You will also recruit, hire, train, and manage additional sales reps throughout North America.

  • Continually monitor quality of representation and ensure that it is optimized
  • Create and execute initiatives to enhance revenue in weaker segments, working with internal management teams.
  • Prepare annual forecasts, monthly projections, and weekly projections using project pipeline and flow details.
  • Continually work with customers to align goals and growth. Being able to achieve key contacts and decision makers in each organization to fully understand their strategy and align accordingly. Ensure aggressive and self-sustaining growth.
  • Coordinate and organize market feedback for pricing, products, needed items from network and pass to appropriate internal management teams.
  • Build pipeline with clear potential, details, schedules, and strategy using CRM
  • Define key accounts and major potential customers.
  • Help set and then execute aggressive sales strategy and achieve revenue goals.
  • Direct quotation strategies for major bids, channel partners, and end customers.
  • Report on revenue, channel, and business development activities, plans, and strategies to internal management teams.

What You Need for this Position

At Least 5Years Experience:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and generally IT literate
  • Building relationships within the manufacturing community, particularly energy manufacturers
  • Personally setting, planning, achieving, and surpassing goals
  • Additional consideration given to sales experience with/in Hisco, TestEquity, Grainger, MacDermid Alpha, Kester, AIM, Indium, Henkel, Digikey, RS Hughes, Kimco
  • Selling into electronic, energy, and/or industrial manufacturing, with bonus points for knowledge in solder and adjacent products and services
  • Building, developing, and managing sales teams
  • Technical capacity with ability to learn quickly
