Job Description
National Casino Marketing Mgr The Strat (Las Vegas, NV) Description:
Summary: Identified as the primary contact for Independent Agents and other nationwide sources of business. Helps lead the department with responsibilities listed below, consistently professional demeaner, and business acumen.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
  • Remains informed of competitive changes including industry trends and local competitive set
  • Manages the coding requests decisions regarding guests of Independent Agents.
  • Offers feedback and suggestions to department and property leaders
  • Monitor and control labor costs by ensuring adequate coverage based on business demands
  • Ensure work performance standards, and employee development programs maximize the individual growth and development of staff
  • Tracks and reports reinvestment from guests of Independent Agents
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that exceeds the company’s guest service standards
  • Serves as department leader offering guidance, decision making, and visibility as needed
  • Responsible for cross property guest experience when Independent Agent guests visit The Strat
  • Manages the professional partnerships and contracts with Independent Agents
  • Helps manage ticket allocation and issuance with casino partners
  • Works to establish and manage in market Rep program for Golden Entertainment
  • Represents Player Development at a high standard at all time
  • Hires and manages the performance of the PD Coordinator offering leadership through real time coaching
  • Manages department billback process
  • Works to establish and manage air program
  • Responsible for all tracking, reporting, and growth of IA revenue production at The Strat
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of Independent Agent Commissions
  • Actively works to acquire and contract new Independent Agents for Golden Entertainment
  • Helps sister properties who consider creation or implementation of Independent Agent programs
  • Remains informed of competitive changes including industry trends and local competitive set
  • Assists with planning and executing in-market events (some travel is required)
  • Helps establish and maintain the department culture and reinvestment standards of the department
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, federal regulations, and know your customer standards as necessary
  • Involved in credit review, decisions, and collections as needed
  • Oversee the execution of the division’s operational plans in the assigned areas
  • Assists with planning and executing cross property trips
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting spend and productions against KPI’s
Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or a comparable level of experience in a related field is required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Must have a history or hard work, focus, decision making, and problem-solving ability. An upbeat and creative approach typically leads to success in this role.
  • Working knowledge of general computer programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Previous computer experience with Synkros and LMS preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of customer service experience (casino experience recommended)
  • Command of secondary language recommended but not required
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service in a high stress environment. Proven ability to prioritize duties.
