This is a remote position.
The Keller Group is actively recruiting for a remote National Accounts Manager to join our client’s growing sales division. The National Accounts Manager will develop business relationships and oversee sales strategies and plans for a portfolio of business (food and beverage), including new and existing customers. The ideal candidate will be a tenacious, persistent, and self-driven individual that has experience “hunting” and closing on large scale business opportunities. Position Focus: Sales
Job Title: National Accounts Manager
Travel: approx. 30-40%
Compensation: $115-130k DOE + Bonus
National Accounts Manager Job Responsibilities
  • Creating annual trade plans for new and existing accounts to drive objectives across product lines, expansion, promotions, category management, trade shows, etc.
  • Identify and prioritize key sales opportunities at major retailers.
  • Plan and execute sales activities, including the development of key account strategies.
  • Drive distribution, merchandising, shelving, and pricing to align with strategies and to achieve assigned goals.
  • Deliver significant volume growth, while maintaining continued growth in profitability
  • Develop sales presentations with marketing department as needed. Lead all territory driven proposals and pricing recommendations.
  • Build business relationships with customers including brokers, distributors, and key end user accounts.
  • Manage annual sales and expense budgets for territory and manage the approved budgets.
  • Develop, direct, and manage strategic selling plan for the brand to drive national expansion efforts.
Requirements
National Accounts Manager Job Requirements:
  • 7+ years of retail account management experience with a focus on food or beverage products
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
  • Must have experience calling on major retail chains at a corporate/HQ level
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet software skills required
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to improve processes and procedures
